The XML perspective is the environment dedicated to creating and managing projects that contain XML, XSL, DTD documents. The XML perspective is made of four windows:
The Project Explorer is in the left pane. It can contain a variety of projects, one of these being used for your publishing activities
The Editor is the central and biggest area in the perspective. It allows the edition of several documents simultaneously. Each document resides in its own tabbed window.
The Outline pane shows the structure of the document in the active edit window as determined by the XML tags.
Below the Editor is an additional window with a number of tabs: Problems, Documentation, Properties, Console and Snippets. The messages and other pieces of information during the generation of documents go to the Console area
Tip: any of these windows can be enlarged to the full size of the screen by double-clicking on its tab
